Hargrave Custom Yachts' CEO Mike Joyce reports that this year's Miami boat show was a success for the Ft Lauderdale-based company.

"If you asked me what I thought of the show I would probably call it weird and wonderful," says Joyce.

For the first time in his memory, Joyce explains that Monday was a good day and his company saw a steady flow of qualified prospects from both the US and overseas.

The company specialises in custom-built yachts in the 21.3m-39.6m (70ft-130ft) range. During the show Hargrave had one signed purchase offer completed and was expecting two more to be accepted soon.
