Heesen Yachts teams up with VistaJet

Dutch superyacht builder Heesen Yachts has entered into a joint marketing agreement with VistaJet, one of the world's leading private aviation firms.

The new partnership allows both companies to capitalise on the synergies that exist between their respective target customers — yacht owners and leasers, and users of business aviation services.

"There is significant overlap between our respective business strategies in that we both strive to deliver luxury service and products to discerning customers," says Fabio Ermetto, director of sales and marketing at Heesen. "Our collaboration is a great opportunity for the two companies to leverage each others' strengths in our respective markets, boosting visibility among high net worth individuals who accept only the best."

Heesen Yachts designs and builds aluminium motoryachts from 37m-65m (121ft-213ft). In 2009, the company delivered three semi-displacement motoryachts — the 44m (144ft) Jems, 44m (144ft) Petra and 47m (154ft) 4YOU — as well as Blind Date, a 47m (154ft) vessel with full displacement hull form.

VistaJet claims to be the world's fastest growing private aviation firm, with the largest wholly owned commercial fleet outside the Americas. The company is headquartered in Switzerland with offices in Austria, Dubai, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the UK.
