French superyacht builder Chantier Naval Couach — CNC has named Eric Robert-Peillard as the company's new president.

Robert-Peillard is the former director of IMS, Couach's service subsidiary based in Saint-Mandrier in the south of France.

The new president replaces Jean-François Buigues. Buigues held the position of president at CNC for a year and is also financial director of the industrial group led by CNC's owner Fabrice Vial.

Couach was acquired by Vial in June 2009. The superyacht yard had become unable to pay its creditors in March the same year.

CNC builds yachts from 20m-50m (65ft-164ft) in Gujan-Mestras in southwest France.
