Pendennis to benefit from new UK marina
After three years of objections plans for a new 290-berth marina within Falmouth docks, in the south-west of England, have finally been approved. Protected by a new 290m (950ft) floating breakwater, the multi-million pound project will eventually be able to accommodate yachts up to 80m (262ft). It will also allow Falmouth to attract prestigious events such as the Tall Ships Race — and give nearby Pendennis Shipyard the benefits of extras berths for new-build and refit projects.
