A new superyacht and private aircraft division has been established by the IOMA (Isle of Man Assurance) Group.

It will be headed up by Lisa Osland who will oversee the provision of corporate ownership structures and related financial services for IOMA's clients.

She recently joined IOMA — along with a number of others — from Abacus.

"There was an opportunity to leave for this new post," Osland told SB. "We are hoping our yacht services will provide existing and new IOMA Group clients with a competitive edge."

IOMA has decided to enter the superyacht market now that new international changes in tax — and other financial regulations — are making yacht owners review their ownership structures.

Osland is also secretary of the Isle of Man Yacht Forum which will be at the Monaco show to promote its wide range of superyacht services.
