The New Zealand Marine Industry Association (NZ MIA) has introduced a new name, new branding and new dates for the Auckland International Boat Show.

Now known as the Auckland On Water Boat Show, the event will feature new branding that reflects the greater diversity of exhibitors who attend the show.

"It's a more modern look featuring a range of images that reflect our world class industry, with products and services ranging from superyachts to trailerboats, engines to electronics and watercraft to chartering," says show CEO Michelle Khan.

The new dates are 27-30 September 2012, and the event will once again be held in Viaduct Harbour, central Auckland.
