Mourjan Marinas IGY has signed an agreement to manage the Four Seasons Hotel Doha marina in Qatar — a facility that can accommodate yachts up to 35m (115ft).

The Dubai-based marina developer and operator will fully manage the 112-berth floating marina, which is located on the shores of Doha's West Bay.

"We have continued to broaden our reach locally and internationally this year and are seeing some great results and strong partnerships in key markets," says Mourjan CEO Michael Horrigan.

"This latest agreement in Qatar is very pleasing as it adds to our portfolio in a country which is fast becoming one of the leading destinations for boaters in the region."

Mourjan Marinas IGY is also undertaking the full responsibility for design, construction and operation of all marinas in Doha's Lusail City, and recently took on the management of Port Tarraco Marina in north-eastern Spain.

Wayne Shepherd, regional operations manager Middle East, Mourjan Marinas IGY, has relocated to Qatar in order to focus on the Qatar marina operations.
