Princess Yachts has completed sea trials for its new 40m (131ft) motoryacht — the largest built to date by the Plymouth, UK-based boatbuilder.

"It was quite something, and a demonstration as to just how much we have achieved with this incredible craft," says managing director Chris Gates.
"She is truly wonderful and we couldn't be happier with her performance at sea."

The Princess 40 is the first tri-deck yacht built by the company and will be able to accommodate 12 guests and up to eight crew in separate quarters.

The yacht is now undergoing final fit-out.
