Green Marine has launched 30m (100ft) Hamilton, the first WallyCento, from its Hythe facility on the South Coast of England.

Developed by Judel Vrolijk naval architects with interiors by Design Unlimited, she fully exploits the WallyCento box-rule to create a fast, seaworthy cruiser-racer for owner, Carphone Warehouse founder, Sir Charles Dunstone.

Using a new generation of lightweight, carbon composite hull designs, WallyCento's will be able to surf, plane and exceed 25kt downwind.

Hamilton is the first superyacht to feature the unique three-spoke steering wheel developed exclusively for WallyCento by Konstantin Grcic.

Construction of the second WallyCento, Magic Carpet Cubed, is proceeding on schedule at WallyEurope in Ancona, Italy. The hull was de-moulded at the beginning of June, and the yacht is scheduled for launch at the end of the year.

Hamilton will join the Wally Class racing circuit participating in the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup and the Voiles de Saint Tropez.
