IBI is the only business magazine that looks in depth at what's happening in the international boating market on a country-by-country basis.

On a regular basis we investigate, analyse and summarise commercial developments in the key strategic markets such as the USA and the major European markets in our programme of detailed business reports. These comprise a close look at the business climate in any given market and include detailed reportage of how major and interesting players - domestic manufacturers, importers and distributors - are manoeuvring to cope with, and take advantage of, changing market conditions.

We also look in detail at opportunities in prospective markets as they hove into view outside the mainstream European and North American markets.

We examine technical developments and market trends in specific product sectors, be they mainstream areas such as marine electronics, inboard and outboard engines or developing ones such as onboard electrical power management or environmental control. And we report on changes at the distribution, retail, environmental, legislative and service provision levels of the market.

Having monitored the boating business since 1968, IBI is able to apply long-term insight and analysis into industry/market developments to give them context within the broader market picture.

IBI is published eight times a year. Issue datelines are January/February, March, April/May, June/July, August/September, October, November and December. It is received by more than 12,000 senior managers and executives in boating industry companies in 120 countries (BPA audit applied for). We are read by boatbuilders, marine equipment manufacturers, wholesalers/distributors, import/export agencies, yacht designers and naval architects, retailers and other service providers. Primarily a controlled circulation magazine, it's sent free to bona fide marine leisure industry companies which specifically request to receive it.
