Taylor Made Systems unveils integrated windshield and wakeboard tower system

The patent-pending Performance-Series Integrated Tower System has been developed by Taylor Made Systems in collaboration with Xtreme Marine, a major builder of wakeboard towers. "Wakeboard towers are among the fastest growing OEM accessories for boatbuilders," said Randy Parker, president of Taylor Made Systems. "Our market research determined that a major consumer complaint with wakeboard towers is that they can impede the vision of the boat operator due to their size and design.ÊWe have overcome this problem by anchoring the tower directly into the windshield wing frames." The Integrated Tower System consists of a Taylor Made windshield and wakeboard tower with a special ball joint that attaches the tower legs to the strengthened windshield wings. "With the Integrated Tower System, boatbuilders can install wakeboard towers, not as an afterthought but as part of a totally integrated package. The result is easier installation, a cleaner looking design and increased customer satisfaction," said Tony Williams, vice president and general manager of Xtreme Marine.
