Reverso Pumps acquires Larand Corporation
By IBI Magazine
Reverso Pumps, a Florida-based manufacturer of oil change systems, has acquired Larand Corporation of Hialeah, Florida, and renamed the company Larand Products LLC. Effective immediately, the business has relocated to Reverso's Ft Lauderdale headquarters, where it will continue to make fuel system accessories for the global marine market.
"Larand has an excellent reputation for producing quality parts, and that quality will continue under my ownership," says Reverso president John Napurano. "With its presence in the outboard market, the company perfectly complements Reverso's business."
Larand makes a wide range of outboard fuel connectors, fuel line assemblies, fuel fittings, primer bulbs and hose barbs for the OEM and aftermarket industries. The group's former owners, John Davison and Irving Leighton, will continue to be involved in the business.
