NetJets to sponsor Swan Challenge

By IBI Magazine

Finnish boatbuilder Nautor's Swan has announced that NetJets in the US is to sponsor this year's Swan Challenge Series an international showcase for Swan yacht owners wanting to participate in some of the world's leading regattas. NetJets, a US provider of fractional aircraft ownership, has previously partnered with Nautor's Swan at a number of flagship events, including the Swan 45 Gold Cup. The new agreement is expected to strengthen the presence of both companies on the global sailing stage.

"The NetJets partnership recognises a commitment between Nautor's Swan and NetJets to providing the highest level of service to Swan owners, on and off the water," says Jennifer Hall, head of Racing, Events and Partnership for Nautor's Swan. "Building on from NetJets' co-sponsorship of the Swan 45 Gold Cup 2004, we are pleased to further the partnership between two leading companies committed to excellence. NetJets' involvement in the Swan Challenge Series translates to better and better events for Swan owners."

As part of the agreement, NetJets and Nautor's Swan will be hosting exclusive events for Swan owners participating in key events throughout the year, including the Newport Bermuda Race, Les Voiles de St Tropez, the ARC, Skandia Cowes Week and the Rolex Fastnet Race.
