MPE introduces new Uttern model

By IBI Magazine

Marine Power Europe (MPE) has introduced the latest in the Swedish-built range of Uttern motorcruisers. The S49 Exclusive, a 4.9m (16ft) boat with dual consoles, can carry up to five people. It is available with 50hp (36.8kW) or 60hp (44.1kW) Mercury EFI four-stroke power for speeds of up to 30kt.

Standard features onboard the S49 Exclusive include teak laminate flooring; seat cushions; a 50lt built-in fuel tank; stern door leading to a swim ladder; stainless steel grab rails; electric bilge pump; 12V power outlet; a complete mooring kit that includes ropes, fenders and anchor; four lockable stowage compartments; and no-feedback steering. Optional extras include canopy, seat and console covers.

MPE, which is headquartered in Belgium, is the European, African and Middle Eastern manufacturing, marketing and distribution subsidiary of Mercury Marine and a unit of Brunswick Corporation.
