Yamaha UK to distribute Yamarin boats

By IBI Magazine

Yamaha Motor (UK) has been chosen to serve as the sole importer and distributor of Yamarin powerboats to Britain. The current Yamarin line-up, which is owned by Konekesko Marine of Finland, features 20 outboard-powered models from 4m-7.4m (13ft-24ft) in length. This includes cuddy cabin and bowrider sportsboats, small cabin and open console styles.

"We are very excited to have secured the distribution of such a prestigious fleet of craft," says David Pougher, divisional manager at Yamaha Marine. "The values of quality, dependability and performance are shared between both companies as well as a clear focus to offer our customers the finest hull and power combinations."

Founded in Finland in 1972, Yamarin already has a close relationship with Yamaha in Scandinavia, where its boats are designed and developed with Yamaha outboards. Today, two-thirds of the company's production goes mainly to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Switzerland and Germany.
