Six new Quicksilver models for 2007
By IBI Magazine
Marine Power Europe (MPE) is to launch six new Quicksilver boats in 2007 — the 720 Commander, the Quicksilver Weekend 640, 670, 700, and the Quicksilver Flamingo 430 and 500, all of which will carry a three-year structural hull warranty.
The 720 Commander (pictured) is a 7.14m (23ft) fibreglass boat that will supplement seven other models in the Commander range, while the Quicksilver Weekend 640, 670 and 700 will accompany the already established 750 model.
"The Weekend range is a leader in the comfort stakes with the 700 particularly notable for its spacious and luxurious cabin which offers two separate double berths, a dining table and chemical toilet," reads a company press release. "Comfort is also high on the 670 and 640 Weekend agenda with both versions offering generous space and a convertible dining table in the cockpit." The 670 will offer two separate double berths, while the 640 Weekend will have a double berth with shower and the option of outboard power or sterndrive.
And finally, the Quicksilver Flamingo 430 and 500 models will join the 620, 530, 525 Open and 520 variants.
All Quicksilver boats are equipped with a choice of Mercury or Mariner outboards, or Mercury MerCruiser, Cummins MerCruiser Diesel or Volkswagen Marine sterndrives or inboards.
