Conway launches first-ever sailboat

By IBI Magazine

Conway Boats, a UK company best known for its leisure and angling craft, has announced the addition of its first-ever sailboat. The new Manta-Evolution (pictured) is a 4.8m (16ft) twin foil, monohull sailing dinghy made from GRP. Buoyancy is provided by three chambers under the deck with additional foam in the foils and below the cockpit. It can seat up to three people.

"The twin foils do away with the need for a keel or dagger board, allowing the Evolution to sail in very shallow waters," says the company. "Strongly constructed in GRP, the unique design offers the stability of a multihull with the manoeuvrability of a monohull."

To celebrate the introduction of the Manta-Evolution to the Conway range, the company is currently offering a 15 per cent reduction on the usual price of £9,995 for all orders taken during the month of November. For more information, visit the Manta-Evolution website at www.manta-evolution.co.uk.
