Pro fisherman launches new line of cat-fishing boats
By IBI Magazine
Professional angler Jeff Williams will introduce a new aluminium boat line called Weld Pro Boats this weekend in Grove, Oklahoma at the Grand Lake Boat and Sport show. Williams, who fishes professionally for catfish, said in a statement that he created the line because he could not find any boats specifically designed for catfishing. According to the statement, Williams is partnering with Oquawka manufacturing to introduce the "highly customisable, durable" Weld Pro line of boats. Williams said that game and fish divisions, dock-building professionals, pro-anglers, and fire and rescue teams, can also customise Weld Pro boats for particular missions. "I was tired of having to modify my boats," said Williams. "I tried to explain to boatbuilding companies all over the country what catfishermen and striper fishermen were looking for in a boat. But they wouldn't listen, so I created Weld Pro." Williams added that the boats are built for 50 years of use.
