Peters Opal to sell yachts in Spain and Portugal

By IBI Magazine

Peters Opal, the UK's largest distributor of sail and motoryachts, has been appointed the official importer and distributor for Island Packet Yachts in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal. Additionally, the company has been appointed the exclusive importer and distributor for Hunter/Legend in Spain and the Balearics.

"In line with our strategic growth plan, Peters Opal is committed to selling all of its six boat brands from every outlet wherever possible," says Richard Hewett, general manager for sales. "We are all very positive about this latest move which will give our customers more choice in these regions. I am looking forward to promoting these yacht brands through our Denia office in Spain where we have a trilingual sales and service team."

Peters Opal in Denia can now offer an extensive range of Island Packet and Hunter Legend yachts from 8.2m-15.2m (27ft-50ft) in length.
