MPS appoints Norwegian distributor

By IBI Magazine

Australia's Marina Protection Systems (MPS), inventor of the Maddox anode system for preventing boat corrosion, has announced the appointment of ElectroMarine as its new distributor in Norway. Founded in 2003, ElectroMarine specialises in AC/DC energy systems, galvanic corrosion protection and marine environment surveillance systems. The company is based in Stavanger.

"The Maddox system is being introduced to Scandinavia and boatbuilder response has been really positive," says ElectroMarine partner Ole Petter Hillestad. "For the first time, they can get help solving corrosion problems once and for all. Customers now ask for Maddox systems when ordering new boats."

MPS, which is based in Scarborough, Western Australia, is said to be an industry leader in electrolysis control and prevention devices. The company's extensive line ranges from innovative Maddox anode systems and electrolysis blockers to complete on-site electrolysis testing kits.
