Obituary: Charlie Cary

Charlie Cary, founder of US-based yacht charter company The Moorings, passed away last week at his home in Vero Beach, Florida. Charlie, 89, founded the company with his late wife Ginny in 1969 in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) with six 10.7m (35ft) Pearson yachts. Today the company has more than 850 yachts in its fleet in over 30 locations worldwide.
