Hallberg-Rassy builds new head office

By IBI Magazine/Lars-Åke Redéen

Swedish sailboat producer Hallberg-Rassy is to build a brand-new head office that will connect directly to the yard's main factory (pictured) in Ellös on the Swedish west coast.

Parts of the new office will be built on the water, says the company. The new building is planned to be ready for winter 2008/2009.

At the same time, the company's former head office will be renovated and expanded to allow for more production space, particularly for the varnishing department. The expansion will be made to meet future environmental demands from the authorities.

A new road will also be built to provide an entrance to the new office.
