The UK's Broadblue Catamarans has revealed that it has a full order book for 2008 following the world debut of its latest model, the Broadblue 415, at the Southampton Boat Show in September. The company says that it continues to have test sails booked by potential owners throughout October, and is anticipating further sales success as a result.
Measuring 12.6m (42ft) in length, the Broadblue 415 is a blue-water cruiser that is available in a variety of different layout options. It is also said to be the first Broadblue model with OSSA Powerlite propulsion system as an option, and is priced at just £239,995, excluding VAT.
"We are extremely pleased by the fantastic response and initial success the new 415 has achieved within such a short time frame," says Robert Underwood, International Sales. "Our strong performance is a continuing endorsement to our highly skilled and experienced design team, who have once again designed a superb, high volume catamaran that is built to the highest standards. We are looking forward to introducing her to our international customers over the coming months."
Broadblue Catamarans currently offers four blue-water catamarans for offshore cruising — the Broadblue 385, 415, 435 and the Broadblue 495. The company was founded in early 2001 and is based in Ipswich, Suffolk.
