Glacier Bay appoints new CEO
By IBI Magazine
Glacier Bay, a manufacturer of advanced power and thermal management technologies, has appointed Kurt Gallo as its new president and chief executive officer.
Gallo joins Glacier Bay from the Danaher Corporation where he served as president of the US$120 million Pelton and Crane division.
Ronald Hoge, chairman of the Glacier Bay Board of directors, stated, "After an extensive search, we are confident we have found the right person for this key leadership position. Kurt's executive experience and proven track record of success made him our top choice. We've found a leader who is eager and able to take Glacier Bay to the next level."
Kurt Gallo will replace Kevin Alston, Glacier Bay's founder, as chief executive officer.
Glacier Bay has undergone a period of rapid growth, more than tripling its revenues and staff in nine months while moving to a new, larger facility to accommodate this increasing demand.
