Glacier Bay appoints vice president of sales

By IBI Magazine

US-based power and thermal manufacturer Glacier Bay Inc. has named Wayne Goldman as its new vice president of sales.

Goldman first worked at Glacier Bay in 2001, rejoining at the beginning of the year as the director of marine sales after taking a short sabbatical to go cruising. Over the past several months he has strengthened the sales team and established a sales office in Europe.

"Wayne was the natural choice for this position. He was already very familiar with our customers, knowledgeable about our products and brands, and capable of providing the necessary leadership and vision to the sales and marketing departments," said Glacier Bay CEO Kurt Gallo.

Holding a 100 ton US Coast Guard Masters licence, Goldman has extensive experience in the marine industry having worked as a delivery and charter captain for many years. He has also founded and run a number of successful companies in the high tech and oil and gas industries.
