NMMA partners with Crocs Inc

By IBI Magazine

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) in the US has announced a partnership with Crocs Inc to debut a shoe trial promotion at 12 boat and sport shows in 2008. Attendees will be able to choose a pair of Crocs shoes at the entrance of each show to wear as they browse the show floor. Prior to leaving the event, they will have the option to purchase the footwear they've worn throughout the day, choose a different style or return them in exchange for an online coupon.

"We're excited to work with Crocs on this Test Drive programme, as it brings a new interactive component to help visitors enjoy their experience at the show," says Ben Wold, executive vice president of the NMMA. "What's more, 'test driving' a pair of Crocs also provides visitors the opportunity to experience a product before purchasing and easily board boats on the show floor without having to remove their shoes."

Participating boat shows in 2008 will include the New York National Boat Show, San Diego Boat Show, Kansas City Sportshow, Chicago Boat, RV & Outdoors Show, Minneapolis Boat Show, Atlantic City International Power Boat Show, St Louis Boat & Sportshow, Miami International Boat Show, Strictly Sail Miami, Northwest Sportshow, Norwalk International In-Water Boat Show and the Tampa Boat Show.
