SportCraft announces new purchasing manager

By IBI Magazine

American boatmaker S1 Marine LLC, manufacturer of SportCraft and SeaStrike boats, has announced the addition of Judy Worth Batten to its materials management group as purchasing manager.

Located at the company's production facility in Perry, Florida, Batten will assist the SportCraft engineering team in new parts and materials specifications and procurement. A 26-year marine industry veteran, Batten has held production and marketing management positions with Wellcraft Marine and Marine Concepts.

"We are happy to have someone with Judy's extensive industry experience join our team at SportCraft. As we continue our product and brand expansion, her knowledge of boat building and her contacts throughout the industry will be a great benefit to our company," said president of S1 Marine Tom Thies.
