Future Fibres appoints new CEO

By IBI Magazine

Valencia, Spain-based composite rigging supplier Future Fibres has announced that Ewan McLellan is the company's new CEO.

With an MA in engineering from Cambridge University and over 12 years' experience in strategic development, McLellan joins Future Fibres from Capgemini where he was vice president of its strategic consulting practice.

"The opportunities for Future Fibres in this growing market are immense and I am extremely excited to be joining the business at this stage in its development," said McLellan, who is also a keen sailor.

Future Fibres entered the composite rigging market in 1997. The company designs, manufactures and supplies unidirectional PBO composite rigging to the high performance yachting market.
