BRP opens genuine parts facility in Florida

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has opened a parts and accessories warehouse in Ft Lauderdale, Florida that offers Evinrude and Johnson genuine parts to dealers across the US.
The new warehouse, which opened on April 15, brings dealers a greater availability of genuine parts in a location where aftermarket suppliers have a strong presence. It also increases the level of customer service provided and greatly improves delivery times for dealers in the area.
"Opening a warehouse in the largest boating state in the US allows us to offer dealers lower shipping costs with one-day standard ground delivery to the entire state, including the Florida Keys," says Gary Wenzel, director of Parts and Accessories, Outboard Engines, at BRP.
"Our dealers can now turn around repair work more quickly, allowing their customers to spend more time on the water enjoying our products," he adds.
BRP says that the new location also improves parts delivery in the area through extended order cut-off times for normal and emergency orders. Located close to the interstate, the warehouse provides easy dealer pick-up capability to more than 60 Evinrude dealerships in the area that need parts the same day.
