Gurit reports rise in sales to marine customers

Swiss composites provider Gurit Holding AG has released its first quarter results reporting sales to marine customers up 17.5 per cent for the quarter, reaching CHF 23.4m.
Overall sales increased by 7.1 per cent, totalling CHF 115.7m for the period.
Wind energy sales were up 10.4 per cent and transportation 8.2 per cent, while revenues from winter sport and real estate activities further declined.
With offices and production facilities throughout the world, Gurit develops and manufactures complex composite materials with bespoke physical and chemical characteristics. Its product range includes structural foam, gel coats, and resins.
