Navimo announces new Plastimo MD

European boat equipment manufacturer the Navimo Group has named Michel Dorez as the new managing director of Plastimo France SAS.
Based in Lorient, western France, Plastimo has a product portfolio that includes safety equipment, mooring and navigation instruments.
Dorez will coordinate the brand's strategy and operation in terms of R&D, production, marketing and sales. He reports to Navimo president Jean-Marie Paepegaey, who is also president of Plastimo.
Prior to joining Plastimo, Dorez was factory manager with inkjet printer firm Imaje and operations manager at laser cutter Lectra.
Headquartered in France, Navimo has eight production sites in Europe and 14 distribution subsidiaries in Europe and the US. The group reports a turnover of €150 million.
