Linssen appoints Italian dealer

Dutch boatbuilder Linssen Yachts has named Giaroli SAS as the brand's official dealer in Italy.
In a statement Linssen said that the move into Italy was a step on the way to developing the brand's presence in more mature markets such as the UK and France.
Based at Orbetello, 150km north of Rome, Giaroli imports boats for distribution in Italy and France. Other brands in the Giaroli portfolio include Grand Banks, Hinckley and Nauticat.
Linssen Yachts builds steel pleasure boats from 9m-15m (30ft-50ft). The company reports strong growth with an 18 per cent increase in orders for 2007-2008. In 2007 Linssen produced 80 vessels.
