Brunswick makes new appointments to Latin America Group

Brunswick Corp has promoted three executives within its Latin America Group. The company announced the promotions in a statement. Jorge Valdes has been promoted to the position of director of business development for Latin America, reporting to William Gress, president of Brunswick Latin America Group. "Jorge has excelled in his most recent assignment of director of supply chain — Latin America for the past four years," said Gress in the statement. "He has played a very important role in assisting the Business Development Team in the expansion of boat distribution throughout Mexico." Tomas Hernandez, most recently manager of supplier quality, has been promoted to the position of director of sourcing for Latin America. "Tomas' stellar performance in developing the supply base for our facilities in Mexico and providing quality support to all divisions for the past four years is most appreciated," Gress said. He will also report to Gress. Cesar Besne has been promoted to the position of manager of supplier quality of Latin America, reporting to Hernandez. Besne was most recently the Group's supplier quality engineer. "Cesar has been with Brunswick for two years, and has provided excellent service to all divisions in the area of supplier quality," said Gress.
