New supervisory board chairman at ZF

Swiss entrepreneur Giorgio Behr has been chosen to succeed Rainer Thieme as chairman of the supervisory board of German firm ZF Friedrichshafen AG, which incorporates the ZF Marine Group.
Until 2007 Behr was president of the Saurer Group and on the administrative board of the Hilti company. He is currently CEO and president of his BBC Group and is among the group of experts of the Swiss Exchange.
The Marine Propulsion Systems business unit of the ZF Group has a sales turnover of over €230 million and manufacturing facilities in Italy, Germany, France, USA, Brazil, Taiwan and China.
