Duncan McIntosh acquires Boating World

US-based publisher and boat show producer Duncan McIntosh Co acquired Boating World magazine last week from Trans World, and has announced plans to merge the title with Go Boating magazine.
Previously based in Atlanta, Boating World recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and has a circulation of 100,000.
McIntosh's California-based Go Boating has also been published for over 20 years and has a circulation of 90,000, according to BPA.
In addition to Go Boating, Duncan McIntosh also publishes Western boating title Sea magazine and a two biweekly Californian boating and fishing newspapers.
Publisher Duncan McIntosh said that the merger was a 'great opportunity'.
