Tallon Marine chosen for US Beachheads programme

By IBI Magazine

Tallon Marine, a New Zealand-based marine accessories company, has been chosen to take part in a government-led initiative designed to accelerate growth in key export markets.

New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE)'s US Beachheads programme offers potential high-growth companies access to top executives who are willing to share contacts, experience and expertise to help grow exports. Tallon's mentor for the programme is Rick Thomas, founder of Nautical Structures, a US manufacturer of high-end yachting equipment since 1986.

"The accolades and awards Tallon Marine has already received in the US are a testament to their growth potential," says Thomas, whose company works directly with more than 200 US and international production and custom yacht builders. "I look forward to helping them develop the crucial business relationships and manufacturing partnerships they need to further develop their US market."

Tallon Marine's products are currently distributed in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. The company is based in Wanaka on New Zealand's South Island.
