Brunswick Marine in Europe closes two branches
By IBI Magazine
Brunswick Marine in Europe is closing two branches — in Germany and the Netherlands with immediate effect. The German branch was also responsible for the Swiss market. Staff, including the general manager, has been made redundant at the German operation with some staff at both operations being offered positions at Brunswick Marine's European headquarters in Belgium.
This change follows a reorganisation to regional sales areas where the former Italian branch general manager, Ferruccio Villa, is now responsible for all of southern and most of Eastern Europe, the former French branch general manager, François Sebire, is now responsible for all of Central Europe (including the UK) and the former Finnish branch general manager, Jussi Sepponen, is now responsible for all of Scandinavia.
In other news, the former head of sales for boats produced in Poland, Jean-Paul Rouvrais, has left the company. Further changes in Brunswick Marine's distribution organisation were announced last week with an exchange of management personnel between the company's US headquarters in Wisconsin, USA and the Belgian operation.
