boot-Düsseldorf under new management

Goetz-Ulf Jungmichel will be the new director of German boat show boot-Düsseldorf for the 2009 edition, taking over from Abdul-Rahman Adib, who retires in November.

Jungmichel joined event organiser Messe Düsseldorf in January of this year. He worked on boot 2008 with Adib and will lead the boot team from July 2008.

Prior to joining Messe Düsseldorf, Jungmichel worked in the international hotel industry and with exhbition organisers Reed Exhibitions and Pirmasens.

The 40th boot-Düsseldorf will run from January 17-25, 2009 and will cover 220,000m sq of exhibition space. Messe Düsseldorf expects 1,700 exhibitors to attend the event.
