Byotrol enters marine market

By IBI Magazine

Byotrol, an anti-microbial technology company based in Britain, has joined forces with Unipart Leisure & Marine to launch a new range of cleaning products for the marine industry.

Marketed under the Ever Byotrol Clean brand, the new products will be exclusively distributed by Unipart as part of its Wetline marine range. Items include a range of cleaners/protectors for decks, hulls, galleys and showers, as well as two sail and canvas cleaner/protectors. All galley/kitchen and shower products will contain Byotrol's anti-microbial technology to protect against MRSA, E Coli and Salmonella.

"We are constantly seeking new applications for our unique anti-microbial technology and we're delighted to be working with the UK's largest distributor of leisure and marine products," says Bernie Foley, account manager at Byotrol. "Algae and mould are perennial problems for lovers of the great outdoors. We've been able to provide a solution to help them spend less time on maintenance, leaving more time to enjoy their boating."

Based in Cowley, Oxford, Unipart Leisure & Marine is a leading distributor of caravan, motorhome, camping and marine accessories and spare parts to the UK leisure market. Its Wetline Ever Clean range of products are specifically designed for the sailing sector.
