Reichhold appoints UK distributor

GRP resins supplier Reichhold has chosen Brøste UK, an Azelis company, as its distribution partner for the UK market with the exception of sales in Northern Ireland.
"Through this new partnership our customers will gain the benefit of a dedicated and technically experienced team from the Azelis Composites International Business with many years of application experience in this highly specialised area," says regional sales manager Maarten van den Ouden. "We expect to continue to meet our customers´ needs and exceed their expectations."
Azelis was formed in 2001 and has pursued a 'growth by acquisition strategy', purchasing small and medium specialty distributors. The group currently comprises 36 companies, operates in 26 European countries and has offices in Shanghai, Mumbai and Moscow. It offers international chemical producers access to many specialised market segments.
Founded in 1927, Reichhold claims to be the world's largest manufacturer of unsaturated polyester resins and a leading supplier of coating resins for the industrial, transportation, building and construction, marine, consumer and graphic arts markets. It has manufacturing facilities in North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
