Colligo Marine appoints US distributor

Colligo Marine has appointed Port Townsend Rigging as a distributor of Colligo Synthetic Systems (CSS) standing rigging hardware in the US. Based in Port Townsend, Washington and owned by Lisa Vizzini and Dan Kulin, Port Townsend Rigging has been providing custom sailboat rigging services for 13 years.
CSS is an easy-to-install, lightweight system that enables the use of synthetic line in place of stainless wire for standing rigging on sailboats. The system components — Line Terminator end fittings, Chainplate Distributors and Titanium Brackets — are 1/4 the weight of stainless and are easy-to-splice with 12 strand line. No turnbuckles are needed.
