Webasto names new team members

By IBI Magazine

Marine heating, air-conditioning and ventilation specialist Webasto has announced the appointment of three new team members.

David Wollard, former VP of marine sales at Glendinning Marine Products, joins the company as director of Webasto's marine division in Florida. Wollard has over 30 years' experience in the marine industry and will be responsible for leading the Webasto team in North America.

Webasto has also hired a new OE sales manager. Randy Carter joined the company in early July, reporting directly to David Wollard, and is also based out of Florida. He joins the company from Land-N-Sea, part of the Brunswick Boat Group, where he was responsible for the sales and application of Mercruiser products to Mercury dealers and independent marine dealers.

And finally, Henry Garberg has been promoted to the role of aftermarket manager, effective July 1, 2008. Garberg joined Webasto in November 2007, and served as Webasto's lead marine technician until taking his new post.

Webasto AG is headquartered near Munich, Germany and was founded in 1901. It has 6,800 employees at 58 international locations, including subsidiary Webasto Product North America Inc. The company produces convertible, roof and body systems for boats and other vehicles.
