KVH hires VP for business development

American satellite antenna manufacturer KVH Industries has appointed Brent Bruun to be its new vice president for business development.

Bruun is expected to play a key roll in KVH's planned worldwide rollout of the mini-VSAT broadband satellite communications service.

Prior to joining KVH, Bruun was senior vice president of strategic initiatives for satellite operator SES Americom.

KVH Industries and its wholly owned subsidiary KVH Europe provide in-motion satellite TV and communications systems. To date the firm has sold more than 150,000 mobile satellite antennas.
