Bates Wharf opens new sales office

By IBI Magazine

Bates Wharf Marine Sales in the UK has opened its third sales office and facility in Poole, Dorset.

David de Vere and Richard Bates, directors of the company, believe the new office will expand the group's sales coverage on Britain's south coast and offer future and existing customers a more comprehensive aftersales service.

The new outlet is in addition to the company's head office in Chertsey and south coast offices at Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne and Hayling Island in Chichester harbour. Bates currently employs 10 full-time staff at all locations.

Founded in 1991, Bates Wharf Marine Sales was established in 1990 to generate new and used boat sales on the River Thames. Today the company is a UK distributor for Christ Craft in the US and Italy's Sessa Marine. It also serves as an agent for Maxum and Bayliner in southern England, and Bénéteau Yachts in the southeast.
