CosmicNavigation increases production capacity
By IBI Magazine
CosmicNavigation, a Dutch developer of GPS products, has revealed that is increasing production capacity in China due to ongoing demand for its new CS3 multipurpose navigation solution. The software runs on Windows CE and Windows Mobile, offering marine maps with harbour information, water depths, buoys, wrecks and fishing areas worldwide. The data comes from Navionics.
"Companies such as Garmin and Magellan have recently released similar products, but more expensive and much more difficult to use," says company director Olivier Cheavalier. "We put all our effort in making things really simple to use and very rich when it comes down to content. In the near future we will expand the solution with more different types of outdoor data, such as ski and hiking maps."
CosmicNaviation is a Dutch developer of GPS products with a wide range of different brands for use on land or sea. The company's CarTrek brand is said to be the third leading brand in the Netherlands with a market share of eight per cent.
