Sanlorenzo launches two yachts on same day
By IBI Magazine
Italian boatbuilder Sanlorenzo recently launched two GRP navettas with semi-displacement hulls at its Viareggio yard — both on the same day for a father and daughter team.
The 38m (125ft) SD122-FX (pictured) was bought by an unnamed client who is donating a 27m (89ft) SD92 (Telli 3) to his daughter. The SD122 is the flagship of the navetta line and the second of four SD122 hulls sold by Sanlorenzo in the last 11 months. The SD92 is the ninth hull to be delivered by the company since the model was first launched in September 2007. Sanlorenzo's Ameglia division produces fibreglass motoryachts from 19m-33m (62ft-108ft), while the Viareggio division builds navettas in composite material with semi-displacement hulls from 28m-37m (92ft-122ft) and superyachts in metal (aluminium and steel) from 40m (131ft) and upwards.
