Raymarine/Nord West clarification

By IBI Magazine

Following the announcement last week that Simrad had been named a preferred supplier at Nord West Yachts, the Swedish boatbuilder would like to clarify that Simrad is in fact one of three 'preferred suppliers' for marine electronics onboard its yachts, the other two being Raymarine and Furuno.

"Among these three brands Nord West leaves it up to the boat owner to decide which brand to choose," Benny Martinsson, owner of Nord West Yachts, told IBI.

"During last year more than 90 per cent of the Nord West customers chose Raymarine's electronic equipment for their new boats," said Martinsson, adding: "We are extremely happy with the Raymarine equipment on our boats."
