Huges Marina opens new showroom

By IBI Magazine/Lars-Åke Redéen

Sweden's Huges Marina is to open one of the largest boat sales showrooms in the Nordic region. Located in Gothenburg, the new showroom has a net surface area of 2,000sq m and will open to the public during the weekend of February 27-28.

Huges has been expanding since 2005 through acquisitions of marine businesses, a process that continues and is a part of the company's growth strategy. Huges also wants to put more focus on increasing access to boat sales companies.

Huges Marina, owned by the Gillesvik Group and the LF Group, is said to be the region's largest marine dealers network with a leading position in sales and services of pleasure boats. The new showroom will offer products from Bella Boats, Ryds, Mercury, Lowrance and more.
