Riviera expands US dealer network

By IBI Magazine

Australian powerboat manufacturer Riviera has appointed Emerald Pacific Yachts as its exclusive distributor on the US west coast.

With two dealerships located in Seattle and San Diego, Emerald Pacific will represent the company throughout the west coast region, from Alaska in the north to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico in the south.

Chris McCafferty, director of Riviera Yachts USA, says the new partnership is a strong move for Riviera in the US as the company continues to power ahead in 2010.

"Riviera looks forward to a prosperous future and this partnership will only strengthen Riviera Yachts' market position on the west coast," he says. "Emerald Pacific Yachts provide Riviera owners with an extensive range of genuine spare parts and service, cruises exclusive to the Riviera Family as we showcase all of the new Riviera models to the US market in 2010."

Founded in 1997, Emerald Pacific Yachts has substantial experience selling motoryachts of up to 40m (130ft) in length. The company recently merged with long-standing Riviera dealer, Alliance Yacht Sales.

Based in Coomera on Queensland's Gold Coast, Riviera claims to be Australia's largest boat manufacturer and exporter of Open and Enclosed Flybridge and Offshore Express models, Sport Yachts and Sport Cruisers. The company has dealers in more than 30 countries worldwide.
