New boat show in Cabo San Lucas

The inaugural Cabo Marine Show will take place on April 16-17, 2010 at the Cabo San Lucas Marina in Mexico. Organisers said it would be the "most important nautical/marine show" in Los Cabos as well as Baja California Sur. A statement issued by the organisers said that boat and accessories manufacturers, marinas and resorts would all exhibit at the "Marina Golden Zone" of the show. Attendees from the US, Canada and Mexico are expected to be at the show. The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau, Tourism Department of the Los Cabos Municipality, Marquis Los Cabos and the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort are all listed as principal supporters. Official event sponsors include Luxury Avenue Boutique Mall, Puerto Paraiso Mall and Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa. The show in Los Cabos will be the second boat show on Mexico's Baja coast in two months. The second edition of Boat Show Latin America 2010 will take this week (March 11-15) at the Marina Riviera Nayarit at La Cruz. Backed by Brunswick's Latin America Boat Group, organisers said they expect more than 120 boats in the water.
